We have decades of experience of working with and assisting business leaders to create and implement successful business plans. We consistently find the same challenges keep occurring across organisations in all business sectors. Innovation, customers, competitors and employees are vital factors in every company, and leaders have to take a considered approach to address these factors and make the right decisions to lead and manage effectively.

WHO IS LEAD FOR?
LEAD has been designed for owner managers, directors and senior managers of small and medium-sized businesses and for companies within larger corporate businesses. LEAD is only available in the South West through QuoLux who encourage business leaders to step back from the day-to-day to work on the business, not in it.

WHAT IS LEAD?
LEAD concentrates on three areas: developing you, the leader; helping you to develop the business or your department; and, getting you to reflect on your relationship with your business.

The programme is made up of several elements which run alongside each other throughout a ten month duration:

* Overnight experiential - a two day group activity with an overnight stay. This assists members of the cohort to get to know each other and helps them start thinking about their current leadership style and to find new ways forward for the business.

* Master classes - ten Master Classes are split into two themes - business growth and leadership - providing access to inspirational and informative speakers who are recognised business leaders or business management experts.

* Coaching - a solutions-focused coaching approach to improve delegates own performance changes and how members work with people both inside and outside their organisation.

* Action learning sets - a group of six or seven cohort members who meet to discuss real business issues resolving them through listening and questioning techniques designed to establish positive actions.

* Shadowing and exchanges - cohort members are partnered for a series of shadowing visits and exchanges. The process begins with a shadowing exercise where members will observe and reflect on the behaviour of their chosen exchange partner in the place of work. This is followed up by a series of exchanges were both members will go into their partner's business and conduct a mini evaluation project.

* Online forum - members share what they have learnt in Master Classes and discuss issues from action learning sets. They also have access to podcasts, Master class presentations and additional reading.

LEAD has considerable pedigree. It was created by Lancaster University Management School and over 2000 companies have participated in the programme. QuoLux and LEAD are further supported by the University of Gloucestershire who house LEAD at the Park Campus, Cheltenham.
